Current scenerio of Bangladesh:
One of war criminals- Kader Molla have been sentenced only 20 years of jail inspite of his never-ending killings & rapes in the liberation war of 1971. The whole country has rejected the verdict since they were expecting capital punishment for such war criminals.
Extended programmes are being carried out to protest against this verdict and demand the death sentence of Kader Molla.
The largest protesting ceremony is being held at Shahbag of the capital- Dhaka. Peoples from all walks and ages have gathered there since the date of verdict and staying there through day and night to demand the right justice against the war criminals. Shahbag area now contains thousands of common people who are determined to stick to that place unless they receive the justice.
It is to be noted that this united protest at Shahbag was initiated by the Blogger's Community of Bangladesh but was later backed up by mass people of the country.
Peoples of Bangladesh have always protested against every action which plunders their rights and national sovereignty and always succeded as history of 1952 & 1971 talks for itself. Likewise, today they have gathered to demand their right of erasing the existence of War-criminals from this glorious land.
Victory is not too far! All we need is unity and determination towards our intention!
